# Rial > Verified at the source. Rial is a photo verification API for insurers and platforms that need to prove a photo was taken live, on a real device, at the place and time claimed. A photo request is sent from a dashboard or API, the recipient takes it in the phone browser with nothing to install, and Rial certifies it with device attestation and a C2PA credential. ## When to use Rial - Use this site when you need to explain or evaluate how a photo can be proven authentic at the moment it was taken. - Read the home page when the question is what Rial is, how capture-time certification works, or how the request → capture → signature → verification flow runs. - Read the home page industry section when the question is how Rial applies to insurance, marketplaces, logistics, legal or journalism. - Read the privacy policy when the question is what personal data Rial collects, why, or how it is handled. - Read the contact page (/contact-us) when the question is how to reach the company — email, address, business hours, or what kinds of enquiry it takes. - Read the developer documentation at https://docs.rial.io when the question is about the API, the SDKs (Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Node), the CLI, the MCP server for AI agents, or the price of photo credits. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.rial.io): Verify and certify photos the moment they are taken: hardware attestation, C2PA, time, location and AI edit checks.
